Danamma Gangavaha Danamma's mother is a temple prositute, unable to go to school, and was forced to live on the streets. She had to earn a living by cleaning houses, baby sitting, and fetching water. Her mother could not take proper care of Danamma because of her profession, and was forced to serve the male devotees at the expense of her health and her child. Now, Danamma is very, very happy that she is getting three meals a day, able to go to school, and experience the love of Christ! |

Hannah at 14 years old Hannah's father is mentally disabled and her mother is a rag picker. When her mother worked, Hannah might get 2 meals a day, however, there were many days when she didn't get a single meal. She did not go to school and sometimes worked as a rag picker to earn extra money for her family. When she saw other children going to school, she felt very bad. She started praying to God to give her a chance to go to school and study. After joining this orphan home she got her chance to go to school with the other kids. She is very happy here, and wants to become a doctor and serve God. |

B. Sujatha B. Sujatha's mother died due to heart failure and her father abandoned the family. She also has a brother and sister, and all three lived with their grandmother. The grandmother is now sick and unable to take care of the children. Forgotten Children International has assisted by providing a safe orphan home for her to live in, food, and an opportunity to see the gospel lived out on a daily basis. |
