FCI will be sending a Vision Team to Uganda January 30 through February 6, 2010 to explore partnerships with the three leaders the Kenya team met last summer. The three African leaders have submitted three partnership proposals for FCI to consider. The team of seven from Hope Church, The Chapel and Life Bridge Church will evaluate, assess and hopefully agree on a memorandum of understanding for one or more of the various possibilities. Additionally, the team will obtain optimal video footage and photos to “tell the story” and to provide vision for the future of FCI in Uganda.

• Please pray for our hosts: Richard Okowi, Joseph Oyuki and Fred Matovu. Pray that as we explore a possible partnership with these three leaders we will have discernment and mutual understanding of God’s leading.


• Please pray for our team. Our team consists of Matt Hartsell, Steve Huggins, Shaun Leyse, Mike McBride, Michael Mortensen, Jeremy Rodgers and Mark Tobias. The Uganda Vision Team is meeting monthly to build the team, to become more fully aware of the three ministries we will visit and to understand African culture better.


• Pray that our team will be able to raise the support needed for this exploratory project. As a team of seven, we will need to raise $14,868 to pay for expenses which include supplies, transportation, lodging, food and insurance.
