what is fcw's mission statement?

Our mission is to safeguard vulnerable children from the dangers of extreme poverty and human trafficking. We do this by holistically investing in them in an effort for them to go on to be self-sustainable adults and citizens within their families and communities.

which countries does fcw operate in?

We currently work with indigenous partners in India, Nepal, Uganda, and Malawi.

is fcw a faith-based organization?

Yes. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, our philanthropies and convictions have been shared by our Christian faith, and our organizational mission is driven by our desire to share the love of Jesus Christ to a world in need.

how many children are currently sponsored?

Our numbers often fluctuate slightly due to a number of factors, but there are currently around 500 children sponsored through FCW.

where does fcw get its funding?

As a 501(c)3 organization, all of our funding comes from donations. Churches, foundations, corporations, families, and individuals make up the core of FCW's funding pool.

does my full donation go toward the mission?

We strive to keep our program percentage as high as possible. You can find links to our most current annual report and 990 on our Homepage.

how does sponsoring a child work?

100% of your sponsorship goes directly toward the holistic care of an orphaned and vulnerable child. FCW does not use any of your donated sponsorship funds for administrative, marketing, or fundraising expenses. All donated sponsorship funds are tax-deductible.

how does fcw make an international impact?

FCW partners with indigenous ministries with the end goal of empowering orphaned and vulnerable children through several initiatives on our What We Do page.

How does fcw find ministry partners?

We only work with ministries that have been recommended to us by current transnational partners, church partners, or missions organizations. We then go through a vetting process to ensure the ministry is a good fit. If approved, a probationary partnership begins. We do not take unsolicited requests for funding and support.
